Extensive experience, a strong network, and practical solutions for the future of apple cultivation.

My name is Markus Bradlwarter, and I bring over 35 years of experience in apple cultivation and apple variety development to the table.

For 22 years, I worked as a specialist consultant for apple cultivation at the South Tyrolean Extension Service for Fruit- and Winegrowing, supporting numerous farms along their journey.

I then served as executive director of the Variety Innovation Consortium SK South Tyrol for 15 years. In this role, my focus was, on the one hand, on the international scouting of new apple varieties and clones. On the other hand, I was responsible for their comprehensive testing under the specific growing conditions of South Tyrol. Through these activities, I was able to build in-depth expertise and a strong international network.

Today, I offer this experience and expertise as an independent expert. I support companies, organizations, and producers in the selection, evaluation, and development of innovative apple varieties, and I guide them in implementing modern training systems for sustainable, economically successful apple cultivation. In doing so, I combine scientific insights with practical solutions.
